Dr. Koschak believes there is an art to practicing dentistry. It's about accessibility, listening to patients, calming anxieties, and delivering a product that is right the first time. Recently, he welcomed a new partner, DeAnna Dominguez D.D.S. Together, they launched Green Ridge Dental Care. Same location, new state-of-the-art technology.
I was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas, with deep West Texas roots. With an early passion for baseball, I graduated from Central High School with a full scholarship to play baseball at the University of Texas. However, another plan soon emerged as I was immediately drafted and signed by the Boston Red Sox, launching an early professional baseball career. Dividing time between baseball and studies, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974; and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1979.
I returned home to begin a dental career. Together, with my wife and dental partner, Michael Jan Koschak, D.D,S. (now deceased), we opened a thriving private practice in 1980. We were blessed with two wonderful and active children, and all the benefits of family living in a small city. And, I now have six busy and growing grandchildren.
In my free time, I am an active rancher, and enjoy spending time in the country with my family, teaching them about the great outdoors. I play tennis every Monday evening, an on-going pastime for 35+ years; and continue to pass on my love of baseball with each and every coaching opportunity.
Volunteering is an important part of this great city. Over the years, I've been honored to serve in various community roles, including chairman of Fiesta Del Concho, an amazing city-wide endeavor. I have deep gratitude for San Angelo and appreciate the loyal patients and practice with which I am blessed.
